Ever wondered who lives in a Park Home?
Well, according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics about 20,000 people live in residential parks in Western Australia, and more than 60,000 people throughout Australia. This includes caravan parks, residential parks, and lifestyle villages.
And if you think Park Homes are just for ordinary people who can’t afford a ‘real home’, think again. Many are cashed-up baby boomers who want to downsize to a smaller home in retirement.
In fact, across the world many people are enjoying Park Home living, including some well-known celebrities.
Former Playboy playmate and “Baywatch” actress Pamela Anderson and her kids have temporarily relocated from their Los Angeles house into a mobile home while renovations on her LA mansion are being completed.
The blonde bombshell admits she loves her new humble abode. “I live in a mobile home and I love it! Its small but chic and perfect for me and the kids (Brandon, 12 and Dylan, 10)” she said.
Pamela Anderson isn’t the only Hollywood star who prefers a mobile home. Hunky actor Matthew McConaughey has lived for months on end in his Airsteam trailer and has also recently bought himself a double-wide park home!
Park Homes are for living whether you’re an ordinary person looking for affordable housing, a cashed-up retiree, or even a celebrity!
